Kelly Steer: Moving for Life Personal Trainer
A healthy lifestyle starts with a fit body. As your MovingForLife Trainer, I will identify your fitness goals and design a physical activity program specifically for you. Getting in shape is not meant to be a torturous endeavor. There may be a sore muscle or two along the way but I believe getting fit should be enjoyed, not dreaded. I get to change lives for a living, which is not only a privilege but incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. I’ve been helping clients in the Des Moines area with their fitness training since 2004. As a fully qualified and accredited Personal Trainer, I firmly believe in the positive benefits fitness brings to all areas of our lives.

My heaviest weight was 252 in 2007. Something sparked in me and I decided it was time to change. I joined a gym, worked out, ate well and got down to around 210 pounds all on my own. But as the years went on, I gained 30+ pounds. In December of 2017 I had weight loss surgery to help improve my health. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! My energy level is through the roof and I’m a much happier person. It’s nice to walk into a room and feel confident in my appearance. I want you to feel like I feel; happy, healthy, and strong! Moving for Life is more than just showing you some exercises to do. Of course, that WILL happen, but we want you to get up, move a little more each day and get your life back if your weight has taken part of that away. Kelly & I will be your support system.
